At Hilton we have a whole school approach to the teaching and learning of Maths using Origo and Mathletics. There is also a strong focus on hands on tasks based on the use of First Steps and Paul Swann activities and strategies.
This year the priority has been given to developing Problem Solving Strategies relating to current world events across all phases of learning and this is supported by weekly problems shared with Hilton families through Connect.
We continue to use technology, balanced with the increased use of the outside environment to support and enhance learning.
