Hilton Primary School has a specialist teacher of Music and Band, Mr Albert Pritchard. The students participate in a diverse array of musical and drama experiences as performers and audience members. The Music lessons are taught from Years 1 to Year 6 and engage students in singing, playing, listening and movement activities.
The skills and expertise developed are on public display at special events (eg. NAIDOC week, Awards Evening) as well as at whole school assemblies, presented by each class over the course of the year. The Year 5-6 Band rehearse weekly.
Visual and performing arts are highly valued at Hilton Primary as we encourage all students to develop and express their creativity.
