At Hilton Primary School the aim in the Art room is for Children to become increasingly confident in the practise of Visual Arts in order to explore and communicate their ideas and understandings of the world around them through the development, creation and presentation of Visual Arts works.
Students develop knowledge, understandings and skills through exploring materials, techniques and the conventions of Visual Arts, when making artworks.
Students develop Art ideas and language through viewing, critiquing and responding to both their own and others artworks.
Hilton Primary School, Visual Arts strategic targets are based around sustainable, collaborative Art projects, with a focus on investigation, preparation and participation.
