This year our Year Six students were invited to participate in the Culture Through Sport Interschool Carnival run by the Stephen Michael Foundation. It was a great opportunity for students to learn about Aboriginal Culture through engaging in a range of traditional games. Prior to the carnival students completed a one hour workshop learning to play traditional games. The carnival included an indoor Cultural Awareness session as well as an outdoor carnival playing a variety of Traditional Aboriginal games. All students involved had a great day.
