Hi All
What a day!!!! Thank you soooo much to all our amazing volunteers who helped out at the Busy Bee on Sunday 26th July! We managed to get so much done and can’t wait to see our kids enjoying these beautiful spaces! Massive shout outs to Corin on the bobcat, Tom on the chainsaw (check out the incredible Wagyl!), and Valerie and Mel for coordinating the awesome new early childhood nature play island!!! Thanks also to Carmel and our lovely staff for pitching in and sharing your vision for these play spaces.
Donations included mooring rope from Fremantle Port Authority; mulch from City of Fremantle; rocks, pebbles, wood steppers, boat, paint and chook shed from Hilton Hub/Buy Nothing/Gumtree! Also, a big thank you for all the yummy donated treats that kept our energy up throughout the day! Finally, a special acknowledgement of a very generous anonymous donation, which was matched by Rural Stone to supply and deliver 3 large Toodyay stones and a beautiful slab of Donnybrook stone that along with some hand carved recycled logs finished off the two areas beautifully! Make sure you check out these amazing new spaces and enjoy!!!
Cheers
