Mr Josh Wilson, Federal Labor Member for Fremantle, visited Hilton PS on Thursday 25 June 2020 to engage with our Year 6 students and parent representatives. The focus of the Year 6 presentation was Reconciliation and Sustainability. Ms Jacinta Miller and Mr Steve Kinnane, from our Aboriginal Families Group, shared parents’ perspectives on our continuous journey to community Reconciliation. Many thanks to Jacinta and Steve for joining us and to Ms Tamara Travia, Uncle Ossie and Mr Ivan Garlett who assisted the students to prepare their presentation to Mr Wilson.
As well as an impressive presentation, the students interacted with Mr Wilson on the bush trail.
